Agreement for Personal Wireless Access Service in PDF Format

Fixed wireless broadband internet is a great way to get high-speed internet. Fixed wireless internet customers have an antenna installed outside at their home or business. This antenna receives a signal from a Country Connections tower allowing internet access at fast speeds. Our digital phone service is an optional add on. It uses standard telephones and connects through your internet service using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology. We offer these broadband wireless plans:

Residential Plans

Add On Digital Phone Service

Add digital phone service to any plan for $25/month per phone number with no bandwidth change. Add phone service without Country Connections internet service for $29.95/month per phone number. Phone service is subject to sales tax, Universal Service Fund Charges, and E911 service charge.

Residential Gamer Plans

Includes: Up to 100 simultaneous connections helps you to play large multi-player games (50 more connections than standard residential), static IP address allows people to connect to you more easily, and priority service calls for any service issues. Does not support on-site game servers.

Small Business Plans

Includes: Static IP address sometimes needed for company networks, fully VPN enabled, and priority service calls for any service issues. Does not support on-site servers.

Tax: By Ohio law, businesses must pay sales tax unless they are tax exempt. We must have an exempt certificate on file to not charge tax. You can get the Sales and Use Tax Unit Exemption Certificate form here.

Details

Startup Cost: The Startup Cost includes standard installation of the outside Country-Connections-owned wireless unit and wire run to one room of your house/building. Unusually long or difficult equipment installations and wire runs will require an addition installation fee, but that is rare. In addition, you may want to pay for us to provide and install inside equipment such as a network switch, a wireless router, or a computer network interface card. You also have the option of providing your own inside equipment. Country Connections retains ownership of the equipment on the outside of your house and maintains and upgrades it over time.

Monthly Cost: The cost includes unlimited access to the internet except for activities that are prohibited by law. We have set maximum data transfer limits to stop abusive use of bandwidth. Normal use should never reach these limits. There is also an extra charge if you wish to host a server such as a web server, a file server, music server, or a game server. The monthly cost also includes maintenance of the outside fixed wireless unit, the wire into the building, and the power box for your outside unit. You also get phone support for your inside equipment.

Speed: The download and upload speed are dependent on the wireless connection and may vary over time due to environmental factors. The speeds listed are maximum speeds and are not necessarily what you will experience at your location. 80% to 110% of the maximum speed is normal. We will work with you to ensure that the plan you choose is not too high for your specific wireless connection and environment.

Email Accounts: You will need to get a new email address if your internet address comes from your previous internet service provider. Most of our customers now choose to get a free email account from websites like Yahoo.com and mail.Google.com. The main advantage to this is that you don't need to change email addresses if you move. You also have the option of getting an email address from us. Our email accounts use the address @In-Touch.net. You can get In-Touch email accounts upon request. You can read In-Touch email using a web browser like Internet Explorer or using email software on your local computer like Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail.

Client Center: All Country Connections customers get an account on our online Client Center. The Client Center allows you to see your payment history, to update your personal and credit card information, to see and change your internet services, to enter a support ticket to request assistance, to get help using the knowledgebase articles, to get copies of all previous Country Connections newsletters and announcements, and more. The Client Center will also automatically email you new invoices, payment-received notices, and other important information. To access the Client Center, click on the Client Center tab on the CountryConnections.net website. You must have an active email address on file with us before you can login. If you are using our service and can't login then please email your name and email address to Info(at)CountryConnections.net.

Security: Protecting your account information is important to us. As a result, the Client Center web pages are all encrypted with high-grade AES 256-bit encryption. In addition, credit card numbers cannot be viewed once they are entered, and all our online payments are securely processed by BluePay.
