Wireless internet is a great way to get high-speed internet. Wireless internet customers have an antenna installed outside at their home or business. This antenna receives a signal from Country Connections allowing internet access at fast speeds. We offer these Broadband wireless plans:

Plan: Level 1 is for home installations only. Business installations must use Level 2 or higher. Higher levels are given priority for maintenance and repair.

Startup Cost: The Startup Cost includes standard installation of the outside Country-Connections-owned wireless unit and wire run to one room of your house/building. Unusually long or difficult equipment installations and wire runs will require an addition installation fee, but that is rare. The Startup Cost also includes internet service to the end of the install month plus one more full month of service. In addition, you may want to pay for us to provide and install inside equipment such as a network switch, a wireless router, or a computer network interface card. You also have the option of providing your own inside equipment. Country Connections retains ownership of the equipment on the outside of your house and maintains and upgrades it over time.

Monthly Cost: The cost includes unlimited access to the internet except for activities that are prohibited by law. There is effectively no limit on the amount of data you download or upload. However, we have set abuse limits to stop abnormal continuous use of bandwidth. Even heavy internet users should never reach the abuse limits. Please call for details on abuse limits. There is also an extra charge if you wish to host a server such as a web server, a file server, music server, or a game server. The monthly cost also includes maintenance of the outside wireless unit, the wire into the building, and the power box for your outside unit. You also get phone support for your inside equipment.

Download Speed: The download speed is dependent on the wireless connection and may vary over time. The download speeds listed are maximum speeds and are not necessarily what you will experience at your location. We will work with you to ensure that the plan you choose is not too high for your specific wireless connection. The maximum upload speeds are one quarter of download speeds.

Backup Dial Up: For higher plans, a dial-up account is supplied upon request for use as a backup when wireless is not working. Calls must be made from the location where the wireless is installed. If needed, you can purchase an additional dial-up account that allows you to call any time from locations around the country. In some cases, we may not have a local phone number for modem connections, but we are working to add more local numbers. Of course, you are responsible for all phone-related charges.

Email Accounts: You will need to get a new email address if your internet address comes from your previous internet service provider. Times have changed and most of our customers now choose to get a free email account from websites like Yahoo.com and mail.Google.com. The main advantage to this is that you don't need to change email addresses if you move. You also have the option of getting an email address from Country Connections. Our email accounts use the address @In-Touch.net. According to your plan, you can get one or more In-Touch email accounts upon request. You can read In-Touch email using a web browser like Internet Explorer or using email software on your local computer like Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail.

Client Center: All Country Connections customers get an account on our online Client Center. The Client Center allows you to see your payment history, to update your personal and credit card information, to see and change your internet services, to enter a support ticket to request assistance, to get help using the knowledgebase articles, to get copies of all previous Country Connections newsletters and announcements, and more. The Client Center will also automatically email you new invoices, payment-received notices, and other important information. To access the Client Center, click on the Client Center tab on the CountryConnections.net website. You must have an active email address on file with us before you can login.
